Full terms and conditions statement available on the Technical Workshops RA booking system.
Non account customers are required to pay an initial assessment / quotation fee for each repair (out of warranty repairs only). This fee will be between $66.00 and $165.00 covering the time required to assess and provide a quotation for your repair (where we do not have a fixed price service fee). While not due until after the job has been received into our workshop it is due prior to assessment. This fee will be deducted from the final invoiced amount but understandably still applies to an unaccepted quote or no fault found. Our 90 day warranty covers the reassessment of an intermittent repair (which may have been interpreted as a no fault found). The original assessment fee will still stand and be deductible from any subsequent charges.
Once a job has been received into our workshop it will go into a cue and be assessed and quoted in turn. Our indicated assessment time is the period it is likely to take (based on our current workload) to get up to the job, evaluate it and provide a quotation to effect repairs. Please note this assessment time does not represent the time in which the repair will be completed and ready to collect. Once the job has been assessed, the nature of the fault, complexity of repair and most importantly parts availability, will define actual repair turnaround time.
Our priority service options are available for both warranty and non-warranty repairs at an extra cost. While these options will reduce the assessment time accordingly, the nature of the fault and parts availability will ultimately define the final repair turnaround time. Please feel free to talk to our staff or see full terms and conditions for more detail.
We do not provide quotations for repairs under $ 165.00 (inc).
Manufacturer’s warranty covers hardware manufacturing faults only. Initial or extended warranty does not cover software, firmware, virus removal, normal wear, or damage through misuse.
Our warranty is 90 days on labour and the manufacturer’s offered warranty on parts (usually 90 days). Warranty only covers work actually carried out at the time of repair and does not cover return freight or any other costs associated with a repeat repair.
